Krispy Kreme Drive For 45
krispy kreme drive for 45
Get set for 45 days of heart-pounding philanthropic fun at participating Krispy Kreme US locations from April 3 - May 19. Krispy Kreme has teamed up with former NASCAR driver Kyle Petty and the Victory Junction Camp for the fifth annual Drive for 45 Campaign.
Chronically and seriously ill children from across the country come to Victory Junction in Randleman, North Carolina to laugh and play and forget about being sick for a while.
That's why Krispy Kreme is proud to team up with Kyle Petty and Victory Junction in our annual Drive for 45 Campaign. Join the Krispy Kreme family in making a difference in the lives of chronically and seriously ill children by visiting VictoryJunction.org.
"The 'Drive for 45' campaign exemplifies cause-marketing at the highest level. Not only does Krispy Kreme offer its customers an opportunity to donate to Victory Junction, the company encourages volunteerism, and takes time to educate its employees and consumers about camp and the children we serve. Our long-time partnership with Krispy Kreme has allowed over 700 children to reach beyond their illness."
Kyle Petty, Victory Junction Co-Founder

SPECIAL OLYMPICS AND COPS ON DOUGHNUT SHOPS
Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation and local law enforcement officers have worked together for the past 10 years for the annual Cops on Doughnut Shops® program to benefit Special Olympics. This nationwide fundraising program allows police officers to sit on the rooftops of Krispy Kreme stores throughout the U.S. to raise funds for the Law Enforcement Torch Run® and increase awareness of the Special Olympics movement. Police officers collect donations from customers and the general public as they eat, sleep and play on the rooftops of Krispy Kreme stores. In 2009, Cops on Doughnut Shops events raised more than $230,300 throughout the country.
Celebrating its 29th anniversary in 2010, the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is the movement's largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness campaign. There are a variety of events supporting Special Olympics including Torch Runs, Polar Plunge® events and the World's Largest Truck Convoy®. Since its inception in 1981, the Torch Run has raised more than $270 million for Special Olympics’ athletes.

Helping Others in 3 Words
Have you ever noticed how a smile can jump from one person to the next and then to a complete stranger? How a little bit of happiness can spread around an entire room, effecting all those in its path? That’s because joy, no matter where it comes from, is contagious. So we do what we do to help touch and enhance the lives of others through the spreading of joy, because at Krispy Kreme we know - a little joy can change the world.
At Krispy Kreme, we strive to be good-hearted. In our world today, being nice to people has become old fashioned. But here, nice is just the way we are and a little thoughtfulness can inspire some pretty great actions both in ourselves and in others.
Krispy Kreme is all about sharing- because we know that a late-night treat is better with friends. Sharing is what makes it special. And not just when it comes to doughnuts. Sharing our time, resources, and even a bit of ourselves can have a tremendous impact on the lives around us.
