My Dad and "Hot Donuts Now"

A few years ago, before my Father died, he had to make weekly trips to the VA hospital for visits to his physician. We lived in Wetumpka alabama, and drove to Montgomery. We had to pass the Krispy Kreme place after every visit. Pop couldn't see very well, and he would be peering through the windshield trying to catch sight of the "Hot Donuts Now" sign. When he did, it was time for us to make a stop. He was never so pleased as when he could see the sign. We had some sweet times together, thanks to Krispy Kreme.
