My brothers, sister and I grew up in southern VA in the 70's-80's. Our oldest brother was in the Cub Scouts, and as a fund-raiser, he was selling Krispy Kreme's glazed donuts by the dozen. (Or was it half-dozen). My sister and I wanted to help him sell, so our mom helped load the boxes into our large metal doll carriages, and we headed down through our neighborhood to sell with our big brother! We were all in elementary school at that time.
Now that my husband and I are in FL and we have grandkids, we take them to Krispy Kreme so they can make mouth-watering memories themselves!
