The days after Hurricane Katrina were horrible. It was very hard to find food. Four days after the hurricane passed, I was riding down the highway and turned to my friend to say," I am craving a Krispy Kreme doughnut so bad." My friend said,"Good luck with that."
Little did my friend know that just around the corner was a Krispy Kreme truck giving away dozens of doughnuts. I was never soooo happy. The driver gave me three dozen for me to share with my neighbors. When I took that first bite of that Krispy Kreme doughnut it was like biting into a little slice of heaven.
Thank you Krispy Kreme.
