The Tulare Police Department Police Explorer Post 299 had a success selling 600 DOZEN. We made tickets to pre-sell weeks in advance. We had approximately 15 active explorers and 3 advisors selling. We had the support of our Police Department and members of the department who helped us sell. We used every resource possible from our own city to local businesses and family willing to donate for the ticket cost. We advertised through mass e-mails to the city employees, flyers on local businesses, word of mouth, Facebook, etc. On the date of the event, we placed signs at major intersections to advertise our sale. We got permission from one of our local Walgreens at a high traffic/visible location to set up our booth to sell and pick up. We sold all 600 dozen in 8 hours. We had positive energy flowing everywhere and used it to sell all boxes and left our town wanting more. We even invented the "Krispy Dance". With the community support, we sold out and received many donations to help our youth. We would like to call this sale our "1st Annual Krispy Kreme Fundraiser" because of its success! Thank you Krispy Kreme.
